Shaker Place’s registered nursing staff specialize in skincare programs and the monitoring of infectious diseases and infection control practices. Our wound care program is dedicated and comprehensive, with a certified wound care nurse on staff experienced in caring for very involved wounds. Other skilled nursing and sub-acute services include IV therapy, trach care, palliative care, and hospice care.
Our long-term care residents are evaluated quarterly and if therapeutic services become necessary, our interdisciplinary teams work fast and efficiently to get our residents back to their most independent level. We help our residents improve their endurance and implement positioning if making them more comfortable is the next step. For short-term care, which can be intensive, rehab and respite are available simultaneously.
