We would like to compliment your entire staff at Shaker Place Rehab for the wonderful care that they provided to our mother/mother-in-law.
Security Staff: From the moment we walked into Shaker Place, we were greeted professionally. They were attentive to when we needed to drop off items.
Cafeteria Staff: The meals and choices were outstanding.
Dietitian: Assisted with adjusting and modifying meals and beverages to satisfy her tastes.
Cleaning Staff: The facility and the rooms were kept in immaculate condition at all times.
Nurses: We’re outstanding! She took the time to explain and clarify all of the medications on discharge day.
Dr. Caulfield: He always treated our mother/mother-in-law as an individual. He was thorough at answering all our questions.
PT & OT: Learned some good safety tips for home.
Social Work: Was prompt at responding to our questions and requests.
Admissions: Assisted with all Medicaid paperwork! So thankful for her.You have a fabulous team at Shaker Place, and we are grateful for their time and support.

It’s hard to believe my Mom has been gone for over 2 months now. But when I look back I realize how fortunate our family was to get Mom into Shaker Place. Everyone from the nurses that took care of her, the aids, the PT people and the good doctor as well all of the administrative people and front desk people were so helpful, kind and compassionate especially during the last few weeks of her life. This kindness by everyone concerned and involved could not be paid back by my brothers and I.

I am very pleased with the care my mom is receiving at Shaker Place. The staff is committed, caring, professional and attentive. The new facility is gorgeous-state of the art and immaculate. For a large facility, they did a great job making it feel homey with small grouped seating areas, and outdoor gathering spots too. Everything is in house: doctors, pharmacy, PT/OT, laundry, etc. Security is set up at the entrance. Visitors are temperature screened and COVID questionaires done. You must remain masked at all times. I can’t say what a relief it is to know mom is safe and receiving excellent care.

I wanted to share with you that Rich had the absolute best things to say about Shaker Place. He commented on how beautiful the facility is, how great the care his father is receiving there, how accommodating to guests and visitors the facility is, and just their overall happiness with their experience there. I will also add that he is not the first family member I have spoken to that has made similar comments to me. I spent over a decade as a DOR in a SNF and I know firsthand that you more often hear complaints than compliments so I just wanted to pass this along! I wanted to express the excellent care I received at Shaker Place Rehabilitation services. The care and concern they showed me was above and beyond. There were days when my body was in so much pain I didn’t think I could do it but they would encourage me to work through it and gave me the tools and techniques to do so. My mother has been a resident for almost 3 years, because of her Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
