Her willingness to continually help, assist, and educate new staff does not go unnoticed.

Claudia Harper

Claudia works on the Buckingham unit and was the first Buckingham employee to complete a new training course offered by the Alzheimer’s Association. She took the time to do this on her own time. While Claudia scored in the 90’s on her course exam, she still followed up with our Director of Nursing wanting to improve her score and understanding of Alzheimer’s. We are so grateful Claudia is on our team! -

Amie goes above and beyond her work responsibilities to care for the residents and families of Shaker Place. She is one of the first people in the building every morning and one of the last to leave. She is someone who our staff looks up to and she never says no to helping others when needed. She never looks to be recognized for her efforts and goes above and beyond naturally because she is someone who puts others before herself and has a kind heart. If Amie is having a bad day, she goes down to the memory care unit and spends additional time with the residents. Caring for others and making a difference in someone’s life is what makes Amie happy. She has made a difference to Shaker Place and we can’t thank her enough. We recognize your hard work and we appreciate everything you do.
