Expert Rehabilitative Care

Shaker Place’s new state-of-the-art rehabilitation department specializes in individualized physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and respiratory therapy. We provide in-patient short-term and long-term rehabilitation. You’ll find:

  • Nine full-time therapists
  • Personalized treatment plans
  • State-of-the-art therapy equipment
  • Expert therapists assigned to residents throughout their stay
  • A dedicated wing for short-term rehabilitation residents with separate dining and indoor/outdoor common areas

Our staff includes a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA), and therapists who specialize many types of rehabilitation including speech and occupational therapy for stroke patients, amputee rehabilitation, respiratory therapy for residents with acute or chronic respiratory problems or lung disease. We provide rehabilitation for seniors and elderly long term care residents for restring strength and mobility, balance and fall prevention and to improve their quality of life.
