Shining Stars Program

At Shaker Place, our staff are our most valuable resource. We are proud to employ many incredible, caring experts who go above and beyond every day to improve the lives of our residents. We consistently recognize our staff who think of their job as a privilege to help others and dedicate themselves to excellence daily, this includes individuals and/or full departments. Below are our Shining Star Award recipients.

  • Amie Bennett

    • Position: Director of Social Work
    • Date: 7/14/2021

Amie goes above and beyond her work responsibilities to care for the residents and families of Shaker Place. She is one of the first people in the building every morning and one of the last to leave. She is someone who our staff looks up to and she never says no to helping others when needed. She never looks to be recognized for her efforts and goes above and beyond naturally because she is someone who puts others before herself and has a kind heart. If Amie is having a bad day, she goes down to the memory care unit and spends additional time with the residents. Caring for others and making a difference in someone’s life is what makes Amie happy. She has made a difference to Shaker Place and we can’t thank her enough. We recognize your hard work and we appreciate everything you do.
